Gilda B.

The Gilda B was designed by Jacopo Foggini in 2012. It shares its stylistic lineage with the Ella Chair, showcasing the designer’s distinctive approach to furniture design using methacrylate, a type of acrylic, to achieve a uniquely fluid and sculptural form.

Like many of Foggini’s designs, Gilda B. combines art and function with its intricate, handcrafted appearance. The chair is made through a meticulous process where the methacrylate is shaped into thread-like forms and artistically molded to create a seat that is not only visually striking but also ergonomically supportive.
