Inspiration Behind the Black Belt Collection
The "Black Belt" collection takes its inspiration from the interplay of contrasts, a hallmark of Marino's work. The collection embodies:
- Strength and Structure: Drawing parallels to martial arts and the discipline required to attain a black belt, the designs reflect precision and mastery.
- Timeless Elegance: The use of Venini’s traditional Murano glass techniques emphasizes craftsmanship while introducing contemporary elements.
- Bold Contrasts: The juxtaposition of sleek black accents with vibrant Venetian glass creates a visual tension that is both dynamic and harmonious.
