Sergio Bicego was born in 1953. He practised in the field of padded furniture as a young apprentice full of inspiration. His dedication granted to a meadow of knowledge of design techniques.
An independent designer founded his studio in 1991. And it was the second consecutive year that he collaborated with Amelia Pegorin. Intending to encourage lighthearted life to all humankind, Bicego visualised that desire into heterogeneous creations of Saba Italia.
Another iconic design from Bicego, featured in his extended collaboration with Saba Italia, is the Pixel sofa, an infinitely configurable modular system.
This piece is part of a series including several collections like the Petite Fleur, Cookie Pouf, Avant Apres, New York collection, and Rendez-vous, each varying in color and style.
