The partnership between Alfredo Chiaramonte and Marco Marin has positioned them as masterminds behind the renowned eponymous Italian design studio.
They are celebrated for their innovative contributions across various fields, including interior design, graphics, industrial design, and lighting. Their work, a fusion of knowledge enriched by diverse ideas from numerous disciplines, has earned them numerous awards. Their designs are featured in the permanent collections of prestigious international museums such as the Museo Correr in Venice, the Beaubourg in Paris, the Design Museum of Calenzano (Anna Querci Foundation), the MoMA in San Francisco, and the Venice Biennale.
Studio Chiaramonte-Marin, driven by a shared passion for design, seeks to expand their artistic boundaries.
After delving into the Murano glass world, they merged their creative energies to establish a design studio. Their fascination with glass profoundly influences their work, culminating in the creation of the Knot pendant lights in 2016, crafted in collaboration with Czech manufacturer Brokis. These fixtures, both simple and sophisticated, are inspired by the iconic gondolas of Venice and the ropes that moor these boats along the quays.
