Bruno Rainaldi, born in Milan in 1952, entered the design world at a young age, initially working in design communication.
He initially collaborated with Maddalena De Padova and later co-founded Baleri & Associati with Enrico Baleri, where they developed communication strategies for design entities. Rainaldi, who described himself as a "street designer" with a "chaotically rigorous" style, formed a pivotal partnership with the Ciatti family, leading to the creation of CCR and later Opinion Ciatti, where he served as President and art director. His shift towards object and furniture design resulted in notable works such as the Ptolomeo bookshelf, which earned him a Compasso d’Oro in 2004. In 2006, he co-founded Opinion Ciatti with Lapo Ciatti. Bruno Rainaldi passed away in February 2011.
